2025 AZ Fleet Upfitting Summit Highlights – The 2025 Summit held in Chandler, AZ, brought together law enforcement, first responders, and public-safety innovators for an unforgettable day filled with hands-on demos, cutting-edge technology, and a shared mission: to support those who serve our communities.
Attendees got an up-close look at the latest Ford, GM, Dodge, and other vehicles purpose-built for police and fire operations. From upfitted PIUs, SSVs, Chargers, Durangos, and Tahoes, to vendor booths showcasing the newest technologies in fleet equipment and safety, the event delivered valuable insights and real-world solutions for public-safety professionals. And of course, hourly door prizes and a BBQ lunch added to the fun!
Possibly most undeniable highlight? The arrival of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office airship and crew. Though its presence limited the number of completed vehicles we could showcase on the lot, it was a crowd favorite — bringing plenty of excitement and awe. This helicopter plays a critical role in search and rescue operations and served as a dramatic reminder of the life-saving work being done across the country.
In addition to Pinal County, the event welcomed representatives from departments across the state, including Police, Game and Fish, Forestry Service, and more. The strong turnout underscored the spirit of collaboration that powers our public safety community nationwide.
From fully upfitted fleet builds and vendor demos to an ice cream school bus and a tricked-out Bronco, there was no shortage of standout vehicles and good vibes.
Adam Housley summed it up best:
“Still trying to decide which vehicle to drive home… The Bronco? The chopper? The ice cream school bus? The cruiser? Tough call. What’s not tough is recognizing what an incredible day we had at the MHQ West of Arizona vendor showcase. From helicopters and fleet builds to food, community, and connection—it was a powerful reminder of how much goes into supporting those who serve.”
