Anti-theft idle systems let an operator step out with the engine running, lights and radios live, while nobody else can get the vehicle out of Park. Ford builds it into the Police Interceptor Utility. Secure-Idle, Pro-gard, InterMotive, and Tremco make systems for Super Duty, Transit, E-Series, ambulance and fire chassis, and older patrol units.
