2026 Customer Appreciation Day

Once a year we open the doors of the Chandler shop to thank the public safety and fleet community we serve. Whether you’ve had vehicles built here for years or have never been inside, you’re invited. Lunch and ice cream are on us, more than 20 vendor partners are bringing the gear you’ll want to get your hands on, and for the first time the shop stays in production, so you can see real builds in progress.
Come for an hour or stay for the whole afternoon. Bring anyone from your agency who works with the fleet, and RSVP online to get an extra raffle entry at check-in. Admission is free.
New this year: the shop stays running
In past open houses we cleared the bays and shut the shop down for the day. This year our certified Emergency Vehicle Technicians will be working on the vehicles in their bays throughout the event. We’ll clear the center of the shop for vendor booths, but the bays around it stay live. Walk the floor and see builds at every stage: wiring, consoles, lighting, partitions, and final inspection.
Outside, we’re adding tents in the fenced yard with more vendor vehicles and a larger static display of completed builds than last year. That’s also where you’ll find the dunk tank and the overstock yard sale.
Bring questions. The people who build your vehicles will be right there to answer them.

On display
Recently completed builds will be on display inside and out, including vehicles headed to Phoenix, Navajo Nation, Pinal County, and other agencies across the state. Under the tents outside you’ll find a static display of finished vehicles, the largest we’ve put together.
Whelen, Federal Signal, and SoundOff Signal will have demo vehicles on site for the full event. Whelen will also be demonstrating the Whelen Cloud Platform (WCP) using the Vehicle Safety Gateway (VSG): fleet-wide visibility into lighting, siren, and vehicle data from a single dashboard.

Raffle and door prizes
Every attending public safety member receives a raffle ticket at the door. RSVP online before the event and you’ll get a second entry at check-in. Prizes are donated by our vendor partners and include Westin Public Safety equipment, Vortex optics, and a few big-ticket items we’re keeping under wraps until the day.
Door prizes are drawn every 30 minutes from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Must be present to win.
Dunk tank for the 100 Club of Arizona
Take a shot at a few MHQ faces you’ll recognize. Every dollar raised at the dunk tank goes to the 100 Club of Arizona, which supports the families of first responders killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.
Overstock yard sale
Shop overstock priced to move, set up inside the fence. Mostly storage boxes, plus odds and ends from the parts room. Cash preferred, cards accepted. Come early for the best pick.
